DIY Dish Tabs

Just like the Tide Pods I am addicted to, the dish detergent pods are just as addicting. No measuring, quick start of the dishwasher, and a high price tag. I figured while I was posting the tutorial for DIY laundry tabs, I should post a tutorial for DIY dish tabs too. 

You'll need...

2 cups washing soda
2 cups Borax
1/2 cup Epsom salts
1/2 cup vinegar
15 drops of essential oil (I like using lemon)

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Don't worry if the mixture becomes lumpy; it is supposed to be. Press the mixture into ice cube trays and let them dry for 24-48 hours. Store your tabs in a dry place. I use a plastic container left over from buying expensive store-bought detergent tabs. To use, place one tab into your dishwasher with a squirt of liquid dish soap.
